The main emphasis of our research and development projects is on fire protection and the prevention of damage/injury in the event of natural disasters. Our projects focus on the optimization of construction products and materials.
Our research activities concentrate on
- The development of new construction materials and products for the fire protection sector
- The development of hail-resistant components and construction materials
- The development of test methods and services in the field of the prevention of damage/injury in the event of natural disasters
Through our work on national and international standards committees, we play an active and significant role in the process of creating standards.
Thanks to our research, inspection and testing activities, we understand how things work in practice and have first-hand knowledge of our customers’ needs. We are also committed to sharing our application-focussed view with the committees when it comes to issues concerning fire protection and the prevention of damage/injury in the event of natural disasters.
